Polar West Says George Bush Hates Endangered Species

Ok ok.  So you already know that Kanye says that the Presidumb doesn’t care about black people.  But did you know that he also hates Albatross, Bears, Condors, Eagles and the rest of the critters on the endangered species list.  Now again - the Snarks try not to get too deep into the political machine - but honestly I’m not above pandering to PETA chicks.  They’re hot and generally like to protest naked so I’m into all those things.  Panda’s and Pandering!  Great band name for whoever wants to take it.

So big business George is looking at yet another way to rape the legal system and benefit his cronies in the industries that rape and pillage what natural areas we have left. (Article Here)  Long story short Bush is abusing his power yet again to circumvent our Governmental process.  Seriously short of wiping his ass with the Constitution, burning ol’ glory and going to war with Guam what is left for G Duh-b left to do to spiral our country into third world status?

The objective of the legislation that the Bush Camp is proposing to put through is to put the decision into the hands of local and federal agencies as to weather or not they deem that highways, dams, mines and in short any construction projects go through.  As the Endangered Species Act stands now all projects that are going to impact areas of protected wildlife have MANDATORY reviews, from INDEPENDANT government scientists.  Now the people that own the politicians (big business) will have everyone that they need in their pockets to move forward with any project they want without thinking about the regional and global impacts of this manner of thinking.

Now the dingleberries (IE Dirk Kempthorneplanetraper)  from the Bush camp are saying that this legislation is necessary in order to ensure that the Endangered Species Act  isn’t used to “backdoor” regulation for the gasses that are blamed for global warming.  Um, you know honestly the only one that needs to be backdoored is Bush.  Wouldn’t you pay money to see him get “Oz’ed” by Kimbo Slice?  The legislation in the first draft will BAR federal agencies from assessing the emmisions impact from projects that contribute to global warming.  Seriously are they pitching this like its a bad thing?  Oh please Mr. Bush don’t take away my greenhouse gasses.  I mean who the hell cares if the only place you’ll be able to see polar bears is Discovery Channel reruns?

If President Ass Clown gets this legislation through it would represent the biggest change to the Endangered Species Act since 1986 when we really didn’t even know shit about what was happening to the planet.  Kempthorneplanetraper was quoted as saying “We need to focus our efforts on where they will do the most good”.  What by lining the pockets of Bush’s oil Barron and developer cronies?  Who does that do good?  At what point do you as the government step up and say, hey… Maybe we can just redevelop some of the areas that are run down instead of building a new hotel in the habitat of the Key Deer.  Or develop alternative energy sources instead of digging another coal mine in the habitat of the California Condor.

Here’s a few other nuggets for you to digest:

“It is not possible to draw a link between greenhouse gas emissions and distant observations of impacts on species”  Kempthorneplanetraper.  Is it not possible because none of you dicktards in Bush’s administration knows how to draw?  Or understands what in fact a “link” is?

Chairman of the House National Resources Committee - he is “deeply troubled” by the changes of the legislation.  Not like the guy who heads up the National Resources Committee could be trusted.  I mean really, not like it’s um in his JOB TITLE!

“This proposed rule … gives federal agencies an unacceptable degree of discretion to decide whether or not to comply with the Endangered Species Act, Eleventh-hour rule makings rarely if ever lead to good government.” Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.Va  Since he’s talking sense I’ll hold any jokes about him and any sibling romantic involvement.

“If adopted, these changes would seriously weaken the safety net of habitat protections that we have relied upon to protect and recover endangered fish, wildlife and plants for the past 35 years,” - John Kostyack, executive director of the National Wildlife Federation’s Wildlife Conservation and Global Warming initiative.  Again why on earth should we listen to people in positions that give them credibility and expertise in the area when we could take the word of a President with the IQ of my nutsack and his yes men.

“We believe federal action agencies will err on the side of caution in making these determinations,” - Straight from the proposed legislation.  Um would you ever in your life purposely not decide to err on the side of caution when you are talking about the planet?  Or better yet YOUR own local neighborhood?

Now the worst part is this is just a bunch of crap legislation that Big Business Shills/Whores (Oh I mean Republicans) have been trying unsuccessfully for years to cram down the throats of Congress for years.  But if he puts this through, it doesn’t go to Congress.  It just goes through the Department of the Interior and that’s it.  Boom done.  Now for the three idiots that still think Bush is a good President - you say well of course Bush consulted some of the best environmental minds in the country before pushing this forward right?  He brought in teams of scientists with reams of information to help him make this decision right?  If you actually think that please send me the contents of your entire bank account now.  Of course the consultants he used……. LAWYERS.  The exact people that represent the companies that don’t give a shit about environmental impacts until they are getting fined for it.

So while my rant may or may not be funny you my Snarkers can take pride in the fact that our President is an idiot, and this could very well help me pull some PETA poon.
