Ok Snarks - I’m clearing another item off my “action item” list of the day - one Fred “Freddy” Krueger. The good folks at New Line Cinemas are upholding the recent Hollywood tradition of not filming a single script that hasn’t seen the silver screen or television screen in the past 30 years. You know if they do it right could be awesome, I loved the original, and even a couple of the sequels…. before they drove that series straight into the ground. I love that the Plot section on IMDB read “Warning May Contain Spoilers”…. Um yeah it’s a remake it’s pretty much been spoiled. I’m pretty sure in the new Citizen Kane, Rosebud would still be a sled…. well maybe a Razor scooter.
Could we maybe get a Johnny Depp cameo? Or even better since they love mash up these days - Freddy vs Edward Scissorhands. BOO-YAH!
